Local residents Hiten & Jinal Patel are opening their new Seattle-style Teriyaki shop in Murfreesboro.
The people of Murfreesboro have spoken, and they want one thing: teriyaki. And who’s got the bowls big enough to step up to the plate and deliver? Let’s just say the madness is spreading.
This June, Teriyaki Madness, the Seattle-style Teriyaki Shop franchise with locations all over the country, is officially bringing its beloved menu to the people of Murfreesboro. Hiten & Jinal Patel are set to open the newest Teriyaki Madness shop at 5619 Franklin Rd. Suite B5 on June 23rd.
Patel’s Seattle-style Teriyaki Shop will offer huge, satisfying teriyaki bowls filled with addicting flavors and high-quality ingredients like all-natural marinated chicken, steak, salmon or tofu with fresh, stir-fry veggies and a base of steamed white, brown or fried rice or Yakisoba noodles. The best part? They’re healthy. Or not. The menu is fully customizable, so do your thing — we’re not judging.
The Patel brothers are no strangers to franchising, notably Subway. Both Hiten and Jinal were attracted to the comprehensive support a franchise offers. From marketing to management, the structured franchising model ensured they had all the necessary resources to set their venture on the path to success.
To celebrate, the Patels are inviting locals out to the Shop’s grand opening — and trust us, there ain’t no party like a teriyaki party because a teriyaki party don’t stop. Events from 06/23/2023 through 06/24/2023 will include:

“We wanted to expand our portfolio together. Because of our family background, we have always had an entrepreneurial drive. We tried the food, and we really loved the concept. There is no competition in our area. Sandwiches, pizzas, burgers — there are a lot of restaurants here, but Teriyaki Madness is a unique concept and taste for Murfreesboro,” said Hiten Patel.
Teriyaki Madness is expanding rapidly in markets across the U.S. and was named the number one Fastest-Growing Big Restaurant Chain in the U.S. by Restaurant Business. With more than 130 shops across three countries, Teriyaki Madness is continuing to change the franchising industry. Now, the brand is leveraging that momentum for an even bigger 2023.
