New Top Modern European restaurant The Cavendish has just opened its doors in the heart of Marylebone London.
Trained at El Bulli, Head Chef Alfonso Lillo Fas will be sourcing the freshest ingredients from Europe to create modern dishes with a crisp, simple style. Alfonso has extensive experience cooking in restaurants in both Spain and London, which includes most recently creating the menu for the Melia Group’s ME Hotel London in 2014.
Head Chef Alfonso’s accolades include winning the 2002 Best Tapa Dish championship in Alicante, Valencia, becoming the 2002 Second Finalist in the youngest chef in La Comunidad Valencia and the 2003 Regional Finalist in the Astoria Hotel.
The Cavendish’s manager Ermanno Della Valle has already had a vast amount of experience at a number of private members establishments including working as George Club Assistant GM, 2005-2011, Dover Street Arts Club Manager, 2011-2012, and Morton’s Restaurant Manager, 2012-2014.
The smart 1940’s gentleman’s style interior design was carefully crafted and created by Concorde Interior Design who have designed the likes of Tom’s Kitchen, The Botanist, and Copita.
‘The Cavendish’ will be open seven days a week, Monday to Sunday, from 8am to 12 midnight for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks.
