The Company Assumes Operational Management of Capital City Wine & Spirits
Goldbergs Group of Companies is establishing a significant presence in the travel sector of its hometown with four concessions locations now open at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Goldberg’s is well-known in Atlanta for serving traditional New York deli-style food with an emphasis on both quality and service, but recently, their interests have expanded into the spirits industry. The company stepped first into the arena through their two locations at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta with liquor licenses at Atlanta Braves All Star Grill on Concourse D and Goldberg’s Café on Concourse E. The next step occurred in November with their accepting of the operational management of Capital City Wine & Spirits on located on the corner of Howell Mill Collier Roads in Atlanta.
“We are truly pleased to get more involved in the spirits industry—especially with a retail establishment like Capital City that has such a presence and history in the city,” said Wayne Saxe, chairman and CEO of Goldbergs Group of Companies. “We are truly excited about the future of both the Westside area of Buckhead and what this store has the potential to evolve into for its residents.”
Customers should expect to see a few changes such as events being added onto the plans for the store like wine tastings, craft beer school, mixology classes and more. These happenings will occur offsite as plans for the tasting room addition to the business come to fruition.
Capital City Wine & Spirits rounds out a list of impressive brands now managed and/or owned by the Goldbergs Group including Goldberg’s Bagel Co. & Deli, Great American Cookies, Atlanta Braves All-Star Grill and Goldberg’s Concessions.
