The Good Times Roll into The Rim with Bowl & Barrel's Grand OpeningDinner and a movie? Been there, done that. Cardboard pizza and watered-down beer at a 70s-era bowling hall? No thanks.

On Thursday, June 25, everything you thought you knew about the bowling and dining experience will change.

Bowl & Barrel offers a truly unique entertainment alternative, with its modern American tavern featuring house-made specialties, a classic European beer hall and the best in upscale, boutique bowling.

Located at 17619 La Cantera Pkwy, #102, in The Rim, Bowl & Barrel sets a new standard in San Antonio as a destination for corporate events, private birthday parties, casual get-togethers and adventuresome family outings.

“We are extremely pleased to introduce Bowl & Barrel to the great people of San Antonio,” said Kyle Noonan, co-owner of FreeRange Concepts, creator of Bowl & Barrel. “We’ve put a lot of thought and love into the design of the space, the development of our menu and the selection of our staff to make this a one-of-a-kind entertainment destination. Come on out to The Rim, take one step inside and you’ll see exactly what I mean.”

The menu is expertly crafted by Chef Daniel Menchaca to delight the most discerning foodies and beer connoisseurs, featuring its eclectic selection of gourmet burgers, exotic shared plates and smorgas-boards, 18” house-made pizzas, artisanal meatballs and its signature giant soft-baked pretzels. Everything is made with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and served up by Bowl & Barrel’s friendly, attentive service staff.

Add a custom-made classic cocktail from the bar, or browse the extensive beer menu – including four rotating German-style Texas beers – to find the perfect brew. Light, medium, dark and seasonal beers are always on tap, and red and wine wines are poured directly out of the barrels.

Some of Bowl & Barrel’s distinctive menu items include:

  • Hot Fried Quail – Chickpea flour and cayenne with ranch;
