Leading Polished Casual Fondue Restaurant Offers Turn-Key Business Opportunity to Interested Entrepreneurs
The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc., the world’s premier fondue restaurant and a leading polished casual dining franchise, announced today that a recently closed unit is available for re-opening under new ownership in Newport News, Va. The brand is seeking qualified owner-operator candidates who are interested in owning their very own Melting Pot restaurant. Currently, The Melting Pot has six additional restaurants throughout Virginia.
The Melting Pot in Newport News is located in the Jefferson Green Shopping Center at 12233 Jefferson Ave, Suite 3 and opened in July 2006. The unit closed as of June 29 for compliance reasons related to its franchise agreement. Entrepreneurs with business backgrounds and/or operators with restaurant experience who are passionate about the brand and interested in business ownership can apply for the opportunity to re-open the restaurant. Candidates must receive approval from the franchisor and the restaurant’s landlord and will be required to purchase the assets in the restaurant.
“The Melting Pot has a strong interest in the Newport News market and we look forward to finding a candidate to re-open our location in the area,” said Dan Stone, chief business and people development officer for Front Burner Brands. “This is a turn-key business opportunity to join our brand with a low cost of entry in comparison to building a new Melting Pot from the ground up. The Melting Pot concept is backed by 30 years of experience in franchising and 40 years of brand recognition, making this an ideal business opportunity for entrepreneurs. Our dedicated development team will ensure a seamless transition for interested candidates from the initial due diligence through signing as well as training on Melting Pot operations.”
The Melting Pot operates 130 restaurants in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Southeast Asia and has more than 20 locations in development internationally. The concept is known for offering an assortment of flavorful fondue cooking styles and a variety of unique entrees served with signature dipping sauces. The menu features a variety of a la carte selections, highlighting customizable options that invite guests to enjoy one, two, three or more courses as they select any combination of individually-priced cheese fondues, salads, entrees and chocolate fondues.
