Centennial, CO based The Egg & I Restaurants announces the reopening of its relocated The Woodlands, TX location on Wednesday, November 4. The current location will close for two days and reopen on November 4 just across the shopping center at 1620 Research Forest Drive.
“We could not be more excited to continue serving the friends we’ve made over the years when we reopen in our new location,” stated Chris Osborne, franchise owner and operator of five The Egg & I Restaurants in the greater Houston area. “Our guests have been asking us to expand into a bigger space for several years now and we are pleased we are finally able to do so!”
“In addition to an increased number of tables which will provide us the ability to serve even more guests, our new location will feature a fresh new interior look, an expanded exterior patio and an increased number of parking spots. We will also open with a new Kale Cooler juice we will fresh-squeeze daily from fresh kale, Fuji apples, cucumber and lemon,” said Osborne.
“Now that we have been able to build a brand new restaurant for our guests, we would like to help build new homes for families in need in Montgomery County and further serve a community that has been so good to us over the past ten years,” stated Osborne. “As part of our grand reopening in The Woodlands, we are very excited to host a fundraiser benefitting Habitat for Humanity® of Montgomery County. From November 8 to November 14, we will donate 10% of all our net proceeds to Habitat for Humanity to help fund its ReStore® project. Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Profits from the items sold at the new ReStore location benefit Habitat for Humanity projects in Montgomery County,” said Osborne.
Osborne concluded, “In addition to donating 10% of our net proceeds from our first full week of sales in our new The Egg & I of The Woodlands location, we will also donate the tables, chairs, light fixtures and other various items from our original restaurant to the ReStore location in Montgomery County so that we can help build something better together.”
“We were very honored to be contacted by Chris Osborne and learn that he wants Habitat for Humanity to benefit from the grand re-opening of The Egg & I Restaurant on Research Forest Drive,” said Isabel McDanel, Director of Development of Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County. “It is heartwarming to experience the generosity of local business owners who think of those in need, and we are thankful for their support of our program and the community we serve.”
