The St. Regis Deer Valley’s signature restaurant, RIME, was named a 2023 Best Restaurant by Salt Lake Magazine in their March, 2023 issue. RIME, the brainchild of local star Chef Matthew Harris in collaboration with the Resort’s Executive Chef Pierson Shields, serves traditional American cuisine in an elegantly rustic setting. Pristinely prepared fresh seafood and sustainably sourced prime cuts are paired with award-winning selections from the Resort’s 10,000 bottle Wine Vault. Fresh seafood is flown in daily from Nantucket, Maine and Hawaii. RIME features indoor dining as well as year-round outdoor dining, all with dramatic views of the Wasatch Range; a captivating, “Fossil Wall”; and a stunning exhibition kitchen.
The four members of Salt Lake Magazine’s Dining Awards Panel considered their best dining experiences over the past year, and judged the competition based on consistency, overall experience, hospitality, service and innovation. Salt Lake Magazine established its Dining Awards in 1998.
