Glass Agency achieves client’s social media milestone in just over one year.
Togo’s Sandwiches had reason to celebrate this past week when they reached 50 thousand Facebook fans on September 20th. In just over a year since contracting full service advertising agency, Glass Agency, the “West Coast Original” sandwich retailer has seen its fanbase grow by more than 60%.
“Togo’s is one of my favorite profiles that we manage at Glass,” notes Amber Williams, Glass Agency president. “The fans are so engaged and ready to ‘play’ when we ask.”
“Hilariously peculiar” content has heightened the social interaction for Togo’s Sandwiches. Using a sandwich as the hero of most posts, Glass Agency has created a social storyline that has everyone from Santa to an elephant eating a Togo’s sandwich. “You never know where a Togo’s sandwich will show up,” adds Williams.
To leverage the experience further, Glass Agency has continually created content and game-like post series to engage fans and has provided activities and rewards to increase community participation.
Games such as “The West Coast Art Contest” provide fans opportunity to create and submit original artwork on Togo’s timeline for a chance to win gift cards. Togo’s “TOGOFY Yourself” allows fans to become their favorite sandwich. “Where Am I Now?” is a guessing game in which a sandwich of the month is mocked-up in a remote location and fans guess the location to win prizes.
