Just in time for National Chicken Wing Day on July 29, Columbus wing fans have a new spot to get their fix.
Wingstop, the 580-unit chicken wing chain has opened its second restaurant in the Columbus area at 5446 Westpointe Plaza Drive.
The opening is thanks to new franchise operator Bob Patel who plans to open several Wingstop restaurants in the area. Wingstop made its Columbus debut earlier this year with a location at 2836 Stelzer Road.
“We’re excited to offer fans another convenient Wingstop location to get great wings,” said Patel. “We just opened our doors and already fans are lining up to try our made-to-order wings, sauced and tossed in our amazing flavors.”
With a sole focus on cooked-to-order chicken, the Wingstop menu features classic and boneless wings and Glider sandwiches. Homemade side dishes include fresh-cut seasoned fries, made daily from Idaho potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad and house made ranch and blue cheese dips.
Wingstop of Columbus is open from 11 a.m. to midnight daily. Carryout orders can be placed at (614) 876-WING (9464).
