Wingstop Flies Into Tempe

Wingstop Flies Into Tempe

Wingstop today announced its newest restaurant has landed in Tempe, Ariz. The rapidly expanding wing chain with 515+ locations is now open at 555 N. Scottsdale Road.

“The Tempe community is the perfect spot to open the newest addition to the Wingstop family,” says Charles Loflin, owner of the new restaurant. “We’re excited to continue Wingstop’s legacy of cooked-to-order wings and exceptional service with the opening of another convenient location for our Phoenix-area fans.”

To celebrate the new opening, Wingstop will host an Arizona State University game day radio remote with KVIB-FM from 5 – 7pm at the Tempe restaurant with giveaways and special offers for fans.

“With football season here, now is the perfect time to introduce new fans to Wingstop,” added Loflin. “There’s nothing better than watching crowds stop by before the game and pick up wings for the perfect tailgate party.”

In addition to the Tempe restaurant, Loflin owns and operates more than 20 Wingstop locations throughout Phoenix, San Antonio and Corpus Christi. As one of the original Wingstop franchisees, Loflin was the first to expand the concept beyond its hometown of Dallas-Fort Worth and today is one of the top operators in the Wingstop system.

“What drives me is to hire top notch crew members and see happy wing fans. I’ve been operating Wingstop restaurants for almost 15 years because it’s a product I’m proud of and believe in. I know when guests stop by my restaurant they are going to have a great experience.”

Wingstop, which recently formed an advertising co-op in the area to support expansion, has another new location expected to open this fall at 5215 West Indian School Road in Phoenix.

With a sole focus on cooked-to-order chicken, the Wingstop menu features traditional and boneless wings, chicken strips and Glider sandwiches – all sauced and tossed in 10 original flavors. Homemade side dishes include fresh seasoned fries, cut daily from Idaho potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw and potato salad.

Wingstop Tempe is open from 11 a.m. to midnight daily. More information is available at Wingstop.com, Facebook.com/Wingstop or contact Wingstop at 480-929-9464 (WING).
