North Johnson, TN – Rockin 4M Sausage Co. & Grill
A new restaurant will soon open its doors in Johnson City. The restaurant called ‘Rockin 4M Sausage Co. & Grill’ will be located on Lyle Street just off of West State of Franklin Road in Johnson City. The restaurant is in the same shopping center as Marco’s Pizza.
Hyattsville MD – Federalist Pig
One of Washington’s top barbecue joints is on the cusp of expansion – though like everything else in the pandemic, Federalist Pig‘s second location will look a little different than planned. Owner Steve Salis had to push back the opening of his Hyattsville restaurant—a bigger, meatier version of the Adams Morgan original—and plans to open the venue, formerly a tire shop, in spring 2021.
Binghamton, NY – Evansville’s Acropolis
A new restaurant is opening in Evansville’s Hadi Shrine, where the Red Fez used to be. Doros Hadjisavva the owner of Evansville’s Acropolis restaurant says the new restaurant, the River Walk, will not be a Greek restaurant and the new menu will offer something for everyone.
Fort Walton Beach, FL – Pepper’s Mexican
The new Pepper’s Mexican restaurant in Mary Esther will be unlike all the others before it. Jorge Lopez, the owner, said the restaurant opening in the former location of The Shrimp Basket on Mary Esther Cut Off NW, will wear the same name, but have a different style of service and menu. It will still feature the same ingredients and offer alcohol, he reassured.
San Antonio, TX – HASH
The organizers behind the popular event, Michelada Madness, are bringing something new to the San Antonio community: the city’s first-ever dry, non-alcoholic bar and vegan eatery.Owner Rogelio Sanchez told mySA.com he and his brother Michael are taking over the original Folklores Coffee House location, at 5009 S. Flores St., to open their new restaurant, named HASH, which means Heal And Spread Healing, by the end of September.
Purcellville, VA – Murat Bulut
A new Mediterranean restaurant is slated to open this month in the Purcellville Gateway Shopping Center in the former WK Hearth space. Owned by the father-son team of Murat Bulut and Ugur Bulut, Mediter-Rustic Cuisine will serve classic Mediterranean dishes with beef, lamb, poultry, seafood and vegetarian options.
