Yo! Salsa Modern Latin Taqueria is NOW OPEN in Wentzville at 2 W. Pearce Boulevard on the corner of Pearce and Linn in the Downtown Business District’s Village Center.
“We have our twist on Latin flavors” says John Lutgen, Chef and Operator. “We take some traditional Latin ingredients and spin them into non-traditional menu items, like the Queso Fundido Macaroni & Cheese or the Sauted Shrimp & Roasted Poblano Grits.”
The menu offers 9 different varieties of tacos plus appetizers and entrées. We use all Fresh ingredients to make our salsas and offer your choice of 3 from our 6 varieties. Any of our tacos can be gluten free by asking for our corn tortillas and we have several healthier options on the menu like the no carb Hunter/Gatherer Plate, Grilled Mahi Fish Tacos or the Grilled Vegetable Quesadilla.
“All of our menu is freshly prepared, we only have a handful of canned ingredients in our inventory. We do not even have a freezer in the restaurant,” says Lutgen. “We have specifically designed the menu to be quick-service efficient but offer a full service guest experience.” The menu also includes a house margarita with Cointreau and Grand Marnier and fresh lime juice, draft and bottle beers and wine selections as well.
Happy Hour is from 3pm-6pm Monday thru Friday with drink and appetizers for $2 off menu prices. There are also daily specials for lunch, dinner and Happy Hour that are Limited Time Offers like our twist on beef Puffy Tacos.
We are open for lunch at 11am through the week and close at 9pm, 10pm on Friday and Saturday. We also offer Brunch items on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10-2. We are closed on Sunday nights and Mondays.
