Now with more than 200 locations in the US, Mexico and Guam, Yogurtland announces growth plans for Australia. Yogurtland today announces the company has signed a 50-store development agreement with entrepreneur Paul Siderovski. The first location is set to open in McArthur Square, Campelltown, Sydney in January 2013.
“Yogurtland’s premium high quality yogurt and unique, appealing flavors set the company apart from frozen yogurt competitors. Consumers in Australia will appreciate the self-serve experience. That’s why we chose to bring Yogurtland to Australia,” said Paul Siderovski.
Siderovski and his team are planning to open 10 – 12 locations by the end of 2013. Each Yogurtland shop will employ between 20 – 25 people.
“Bringing Yogurtland to Australia is an exciting milestone for our company’s growth. We are confident Paul and his team will be very successful and consumers will be delighted by the Yogurtland brand,” said Larry Sidoti, vice president of franchise development at Yogurtland.
Yogurtland opened its first location in Fullerton, California in 2006, and quickly popularized the self-serve frozen yogurt concept by offering the industry’s best quality frozen yogurt served with a wide array of premium, popular toppings in a friendly, clean environment.
Yogurtland is aggressively expanding throughout the United States as well as internationally. The company is actively seeking qualified franchisees throughout the U.S. and for international expansion.
Last year Yogurtland served more than 49 million cups of frozen yogurt. For franchising information, visit http://www.yogurt-land.com/franchise/.
