Originator of the Down-the-Line Pizza Category Introduces Sriracha Nacho Pie and Whisky Chocolate Gelato, Paired with Local Craft Beer
Your Pie is unveiling the latest creation in the brand’s seasonal Craft Pie Series. For the last series of 2015, the down-the-line brick oven pizza franchise is offering its boldest combination yet: a Sriracha Nacho pizza, Whisky Chocolate Gelato, and for the first time, each individual restaurant location will feature a craft beer from a local brewery. The series will be offered for a limited time at all Your Pie locations from October 28 through the end of December.
“Your Pie is all about craft, and for this launch we got to be extra innovative, both in the flavors of the specialty pizza and having our locations partner with a local brewery,” said Drew French, founder of Your Pie. “Sriracha is a favorite among our guests and we wanted to incorporate that flavor into a specialty pizza. Paired with the taco ingredients, it really creates a bold and unique pizza that we’re proud to share.”
The Sriracha Nacho Pie features hand-tossed dough topped with chicken, cilantro, fresh jalapeños, red onion, chopped lettuce, and four limited time ingredients: white cheddar, Sriracha ranch, fresh corn and nacho chips.
The Craft Pie Series has been a seasonal feature of the Your Pie menu since French opened the first fast-casual pizza concept in 2008, with popular creations like the Slider Pie, a pizza spin on the classic American cheeseburger, at the forefront.
As an innovator and visionary in the industry, French also just secured a spot on the U.S. Pizza Team to compete in the International Pizza Competition in Italy next summer with its last Craft Pie Series creation, the Peach Prosciutto Pie, which features fresh peaches, prosciutto and a honey balsamic glaze. During the Sofo Foods show each year, PMQ Magazine, the leading pizza trade publication, hosts a pizza competition featuring the best pizzas submitted by restaurants from all over the eastern United States. French entered the Peach Prosciutto Pie during the show in Atlanta in October, and by an independent panel of nine judges, Your Pie was picked as the best pizza in the Eastern U.S.
“It really is an honor to not only be acknowledged for creating delicious pizza, but to get recognition for one of our Craft Pie Series creations that we take so much pride in as a brand,” said French. “We spend a lot of time and trial and error, creating the best seasonal specialty pizzas for our customers, and to know it was a success locally – and good enough to beat out some tough competition – is truly rewarding.”
Your Pie is on pace to enter 2016 with 28 open restaurants, with locations being built in new markets including California, Arizona, Ohio, Missouri and Virginia. The brand looks to continue signing new franchisees for the remainder of the year, with franchise opportunities available across the U.S. and immediate opportunities in Nashville, Charlotte, Raleigh and Durham.
