Zaxby's Encourages Guests to "Wing It" with Boneless Wings Meal

Wimpy. Tongue Torch. Insane. Those words might not seem like a mouthful, but toss them with Zaxby’s Boneless Wings, and they’ll have taste buds talking. The chain’s Boneless Wings Meal gives wing lovers a delicious way to explore the flavors of Zaxby’s tempting sauce lineup. To tout the Boneless Wings, Zaxby’s has enlisted actor and comedian David Allen Grier and actor and musician Waylon Payne to appear in five TV commercials that begin airing today.

“We know our guests are passionate about flavor and they also want variety,” said Zach McLeroy, CEO and co-founder of Zaxby’s. “Our Boneless Wings Meal gives guests the opportunity to enjoy our highly craveable chicken and nine sauces in a new way, every day.”

The Boneless Wings Meal combines five tender Boneless Wings, Celery and creamy Ranch with Crinkle Fries and a 22-oz. beverage. Guests can order their Boneless Wings smothered in their choice of nine mouthwatering sauces including Wimpy, Original, Tongue Torch, Nuclear, Insane, Hot Honey Mustard, Teriyaki, Sweet & Spicy and BBQ. The Boneless Wings can also be ordered a la carte or as one of the chain’s varieties of Party Platterz.

Additionally, guests can enjoy a pre-meal warm-up with Zaxby’s tasty Tater Chips. The Zappetizer of delicious, thinly-sliced fried potatoes is seasoned and served with Ranch sauce.

As part of the chain’s entertaining “Indescribably Good” advertising campaign, Zaxby’s will feature the talent of Grier, known for his role on the television show “In Living Color,” and Payne, known for his role in the film “Walk the Line.” The commercials will air in 48 markets throughout the chain’s 13-state operating area. Keeping with tradition, Zaxby’s more than 560,000 Facebook fans received an exclusive look at the spots prior to TV broadcast at facebook.com/zaxbys.
