Clifton – the Original and First East Coast Zinburger Location – Tapped as Best Hamburger Joint via Foursquare App
With National Hamburger Day (May 28) and Memorial Day (May 29) coming up, hamburgers are in the spotlight. And Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar is ready to celebrate both days as well as some recent news.
Zinburger in Clifton – the original and first east coast location – topped a list of Patch’s 90 Best New Jersey hamburger restaurant locations.
Patch used the Foursquare app that ranked the best 90 New Jersey places to get a burger. Mostly, the Foursquare list is based on “likes,” “dislikes” and what sort of treatment each customer receives – as long as the customers checked in on their smart phones.
The Patch ranking comes on the heals of another New Jersey burger list complied by Peter Genovese, from NJ.com, where Zinburger in Clifton was rated the best burger in Passaic County and the third best overall in the state (23 burger restaurants were ranked).

Zinburger Wine and Burger Bar, the upscale burger restaurant which offers gourmet burgers combined with perfectly paired wine selections, is continuing to expand beyond the current 12 east coast locations with an Edison, New Jersey opening in late June/early July.
Addition locations are slated to open this year in Jersey City, Westbury, New York and Hanover, Maryland.
