To help patrons kick the weekend off on the right foot, Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill at South Coast Plaza has reinvented its weekend brunch menu, offering a new array of flavorful entrées. Guests also will have access to Z’Tejas’s very own “Weekend Fun Bar” where they can build their own Bloody Marys, Bloody Marias, Mimosas and Screwdrivers every Saturday and Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Among the new items that Executive Chef Daniel Stevens has introduced — a shrimp omelet topped with spicy tomato andouille sauce for $14.50, scrambled eggs and jalapeno bacon stuffed relleno for $13.50, a chorizo pork scramble skillet for $13.50 and Barbacoa beef breakfast enchiladas for $10.50. These entrées are all served with assorted fruit and a freshly baked muffin.
Other entrées include biscuits and gravy, Huevos divorciados, sweet pancakes and stuffed French toast, all priced under $12 and served with a choice of chorizo, jalapeno bacon, hickory smoked bacon or sausage links. Beverages from the “Weekend Fun Bar” are priced at $4 each and feature premium spirits.
